Michael Strupp and Ryan Brichard were best friends in high school who shared a mutual love of plants growing up in Fort Bragg. For the Mendocino County town situated on the coast of California’s famed Emerald Triangle, moist climate and coastal fog make growing cannabis outdoors challenging. But thanks to indoor cultivation, Fort Bragg has a distinct cannabis culture all its own. So when the two friends reconnected as adults sharing a mutual passion for indoor grows, they decided to go into business. In 2017, Wood Wide was born.
