THC is the primary cannabinoid responsible for the psychoactive effects associated with cannabis. The amount of THC in a product can vary widely based on the method of consumption and the strain at the source of that product. The high that is produced is often enhanced by the “entourage effect” which is a combination of multiple cannabinoids in conjunction with various terpenes and individual body chemistry.
CBD is the second most prevalent cannabinoid and is primarily produced by hemp plants and at lower amounts in cannabis. CBD has soared in popularity due to its non-psychoactive effects.
Mendo's Animal Mints is a potent indoor-grown indica. It typically features around 28% to 30% THC. Bred from Animal Cookies and SinMint Cookies, it offers a sharp mint and heavy gas flavor. Users choose this strain for deep relaxation and a heavy body calm.
Born in the hills of Mendocino, raised through decades of prohibition, we didn't just grow weed—we built a culture. When it was outlawed, we kept the fire lit. While others jumped in chasing trends, we were busy perfecting our craft—seed to shelf, sun grown, greenhouse and indoor all with the soul of Northern California cannabis culture. This isn't corporate cannabis. This is legacy, written in resin and rolled in truth. Mendo is the plug that became the brand. Our roots run deep: guerrilla grows in the shadows, zip-locked survival through raids and risk, the underground hustle that kept the scene alive. Now we're stepping into the spotlight with the same raw energy—no filters, no fakes. Just straight fire. We don't need hype. We are the hype. Mendo is where credibility meets culture —cannabis that carries the weight of history and the flex of the future. From prohibition to legalization, we've been here. We'll be here. And we're only getting louder. Stay lit. Smokin' Mendo
